The Nevada Storm, Northern Nevada’s Full-Contact Women’s Football Team, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, would like to introduce ourselves and invite you to participate in our 2024-2025 fundraising campaign.

The Nevada Storm finished the 2024 regular and postseason with an overall record of 3-3. After claiming the WFA D2 National Championship in 2021, the Storm made a statement in the Pro Division appearing in playoffs for the fourth consecutive time since 2022. Even though the Road to Canton was not in the stars for the Storm in 2024, five players were named to the WFA 1^st Team All-Americans. The Storm also had an additional five players make the WFA 2^nd team All-American’s for the 2024 season.

Keeping the drive alive, we are reaching out to the community for support to help with our regular season expenses. Our sports budget is not adequate to cover the full amount of our team’s expenses for the season. Not only do we “pay-to-play” for the regular season, but we also need to fundraise and gather donations to help off-set team costs. All revenue generated will help cover practice and game field rental, travel and lodging out of state, and any other unforeseen expenses that may occur during the season.

Off the field, our athletes volunteer their time and have taken collections to give to local Northern Nevada organizations, such as the Nevada Cancer Coalition, Skiing is Believing, and Vet Tix. We are a group of strong women, wives, mothers, students, and full-time workers! The Nevada Storm is proud of our accomplishments on and off the field this season, as individuals and as a team.
